Financial help to make your home warmer
If you receive a benefit such as Housing Benefit or Council Tax Benefit, you may qualify for a grant to help you insulate your home. Any work completed in your home will be done by someone skilled in the work.
Available grants
In England and Wales if you are over 60 and on a low income, you may qualify for the New Home Energy Efficiency Scheme Plus (New HEES Plus). Under Warm Deal in Scotland, if you are over 60 but do not receive any benefits, you may receive a lower grant. The maximum grant available will depend on your circumstances.

Grants may also be available from Atlantic Electric and Gas for wall and loft insulation in homes heated by gas and electricity.
