Your countdown to moving
There’s so much to juggle and remember when you’re moving home. The good news is we’re here to help. And by letting us know you’re moving we can make sure everything’s sorted out for your old home and your new home.
Because we have all your details already, all you have to do is let us know you’re moving. We’ve put together a countdown to help you with your move
Three weeks to go
1. Let us know your new address and we’ll set up new accounts for you. Do this quickly and easily by using our online form.
2. Save on more than your energy bill in your new home. We’ve got a number of telephone and broadband options that give you the same great service and peace of mind from knowing that one company is looking after more than one of your utilities.
3. Don’t forget to let your doctor and dentist know you’re moving, as you may need to register with another practice.
Two weeks to go
1. If you’re looking for some new appliances for your new home, visit our online retail store. You’re entitled to exclusive customer discounts and could save up to 30% off high street prices. Better still, all our appliances are energy-efficient which means you’ll save even more money because they cost less to run.
2. Arrange for your post to be redirected. You can let your local post office know or do it online.
Moving day
1. Make a note of your final gas and electricity meter readings at the home you’re moving from. When you get to your new home, make a note of the meter readings there. You can let us know what these readings are with our online form.
We’ll send you a final bill for your old property and start your new account using the readings you give us.
2. One last thing - don’t forget to let everyone know you’ve moved!
